  7. Quill chuckled, not minding the questions, and nodded at Malt as he turned away about stopping by. She was here, she might as well see everything. Then, it was back to Cinnimon. "Sure, I can draw you a map," she agreed, "and while they'll let outsiders in, they can be a little testy sometimes. As for eating a pony, some might threaten to.. But I don't know of any griffon that has actually really eaten a pony." she assured him.
  8. "Thanks. It's certainly not as colorful as here." she admitted, happily considering the now clean picture. "Talon Gorge, the homes and buildings are in caves on the cliffs. So things pretty much look the same, at least from outside." she told them. "You have to be able to fly to even get to most of them. It's nice and all, but I like to get out and see other places. Most of the other griffons don't care for art much, anyway."
  9. Quill took the offered card, considering it briefly. "Thanks... And no, I was just wandering through and got rather pushed this way by the storm. Then I just thought everything here looked so different from back hom, that I just had to stay and draw it. Or was, before it got all muddy. Do you really think you could save it?" she asked, intrigued by the offer. "It would sure beat having to start all over again." She meanwhile began gathering her stuff that was now neatly salvaged back into her bag.
  10. [ooc] Malt, there is a posting order. You need to wait your turn. Everyone else gets a chance to post before you post again. The posting order is Quill, Darq, Cin, Malt everyone.
  11. "That's okay... No harm done." she assured him, shaking the offered hoof. "And I'm not usually in these parts myself. Kinda found myself grounded by that storm last night." she admitted, and began collecting up her strewn belongings as Cinnimon addressed the pony, Darq. She might have to restart the picture, but, at least there was no harm done. She seemed okay, as did he from what she could tell.
  12. Concentrating on what she was doing, Quill never saw Darq coming until she heard him cry out a moment before colliding into her. The notebook, the pencils.. They all went flying as the griffon went head over heals with a screech, taken by surprise. Once the world, and her head quit spinning, Quill slowly began collecting herself. She wasn't entirly sure what had happened, other than a pony had just barreled into her. The picture... Quill picked herself up and made her way the few feet to where the notebook lay one the rain soaked ground. The notebook wasn't entirly soaked.. But the page she had been working on now had mud stains on it.. "So much for that one..." she sighed. She glanced up as someone mentioned 'griffon'. She kinda had to figure they were referring to her. "Oh! hello." she greeted. [ooc] Don't put actions or words into other charaters. While you know the two characters ran into each other, you do not know what they are doing following that. Whether they are rubbing their heads, unconscious, hurt.. That needs left up to the person rping them.
  13. Quill continued to draw, pencil steadily scratching away on the tablet before her. A simple sketch, lineart first... But then began to add in detail. This was always the most fun as it was when the picture began to 'pop'. It hadn't gone unnoticed that she was drawing, the occasional onlooker pausing to watch, sometimes to even move where they could see the picture take form. The griffon, however, continued her work, glancing back and forth between the paper, and the scene she was drawing.

  15. Ponies went here and there, going about their morning business, and not to far away the smell of some of the stores firing up for the day began to fill the air. Breakfast, the bakery... What a place to find oneself... She simply HAD to draw it. The griffon plunked herself down rather in the middle of things, taking in the area for what view would prove the most interesting to draw, and began rummaging through her bag. Presently, she got out a sketchpad and several penciles of various shades, and set to work eagerly roughing out the various shapes of the scene before her. So many colors and shapes, it was going to be a ball to draw!
