At the moment, you can see I only have 3 lines in my sig, one of them being blank.
I'm trying to add a third line of text, right between those two but I get an error telling me I can't have more than 5 lines. I'm a bit baffled as I've checked for extra spaces, and even looked at the html. I can't honestly guess why it thinks I've more than 3 lines, much less 5. What is really weird is this; unless I'm mistaken, shouldn't the blank line count towards the 5 line total? So why does it lest me have a blank line but throws an error when I add text to it?
Any one else have this problem? Thanks for any help.

Okay, I was able to get it to work by removing the colors I wanted to put in. Works fine with out them. I can deal without the color. Now I just want to know if I'm doing something wrong. Here is the code it rejects for being more that 5 lines:
--3 reasons why Rainbow Dash is best pony.
--My Pony List: Rainbow Dash>Applejack=Twilight>Rarity=Fluttershy>Pinkie Pie
--There are shades of grey in all things. Don't look at the world through only two colors.
EDIT: Ha, rather than displaying the code, its displaying the output as I wanted it to appear in my sig. There's irony for you. In retrospect though, I think the colors are an eyesore, so I just leave my sig as is. Still, I want to know what I was doing wrong, so is there some way I can comment out the code so that it won't be read by the forum and will display as code?
Sorry if my terminology is weird, I'm not a coder. :)
