I want a spy weapon that goes in the primary slot that isn't a gun. For example, I would gladly give up my gun to be able to disguise at will with the other perks of the Saharan Spy set.

Also, a throwable sapper that anyone can melee off of a building.

I want a medigun that gives ammo

"Meta-gun/Bulletskrieg"

A medi-gun that gives off ammo

Ubercharge gives minicrits and faster ammo giving rate

25% faster uber rate

Can not uber engineers

30% slower heal rate

A medic crossbow that does no damage, but it tethers a hit enemy with a hit ally and transfers HP between them, in the obvious direction.

A wrench whose sentries self upgrade based on kills would be neat.

Smoke grenades, as was mentioned earlier.

A scout jar based weapon that can harm / disable sentries.

Funny thing, when I was writing plans for Equestria Fortress 2 (which is going through serious revision), I thought up some new weapons for Applejack and Lyra (Engineers). Then the Mann-Technology bundle came which put a real spanner in in the works.

So here they are:

  • Laser gun/Pistol which does 10% more damage for every operational building up (inactive teleporter entrances/exits don't count)
  • Sentries that only go up to level 2, need twice as more metal, fire 25% more slowly but explode when sapped or destroyed.
  • Dispensers that don't give ammo but can overheal teammates.
  • A wrench that increases the time before respawn for any enemy hit by it.
  • Teleporters that the enemy can't use.

Never bothered to think up names for them.

THIS. OH CELESTIA, I WANT THIS.

Sentries are the banes of Scouts, and we don't have any effective way to deal with them. For the sake of balance I'm in favor of temporary "disable" rather than harm. Even still, a weapon like that *might* need some kind of drawback. Though I can't imagine what. . .

+20% time to invisibility

Allows Attacks while invisible

Successful backstabs Drain health, but wearer cannot move for 2 seconds after stab.

-45 hp

sound good to anyone else? no? thought so XD

Actually not a bad idea...

it's not overpowered, nicely balanced, and has a great perk.

I wish Valve would add something like this. (Except with a better name :P)

Actually not a bad idea...

it's not overpowered, nicely balanced, and has a great perk.

I can't say too much since I don't play Spy, but it sounds fairly well balanced in theory. Though practical tests may prove otherwise *shrug*.

At the very least, it's a cool theme and idea for a weapon. So even if not exactly like you posted a tweaked version would be pretty cool.

Hm, Maybe if you scrap the whole not being able to move thing, and instead make the cloak time shorter, and the recharge rate slower.

So you'd have to wait longer to use it, and you want have as much time with it. But at least you'd be able to stay cloaked when you stabbed someone.

The downfall with the freezing, is that if someone sees your victim die, they're gonna know you're there, and you can't do a dammed thing about it.

I have few ideas but too tired to formulate them logically at the moment.

So I'll just mention that I'd like a PB&J Sandvich option for the Heavy. It could be just be a re-skin, but hey, new weapons are funner. Not sure what it would do though.

No, no way in hell should spy be able to attack while invisible. It's like death outta nowhere and it gives pyros a harder job

New Medic Melee: The Booster Shot

A giant needle.

40% Less Dmg.

Upon hitting an enemy with this weapon, you gain 25% ubercharge.

When ubercharge is full, you can right click with Booster Shot equipped to do a 1-hit KO attack.

(this will however use up your uber)

This is pretty interesting, it's pretty much a weapon for battle medics. It also gives the medic a use for his uber if nopony is around. I'd like to play with it.

I would like an AoE healing medigun. It COULD be inefficient, but coupled with a second medic with a regular medigun it could be extremely helpful.

Heals a reduced % from the original medigun in a certain radius around the person you are healing.

Regular uber charge rate.

Uber heals 100% of anyone in that radius you are healing, instantly. A one shot deal, doesn't continue to cap their health.

-Only overheals the person you are healing.

-Does not sustain an overheal on another player if they are being healed by the AoE, and not directly.

Don't know of any other cons until something like this is actually field tested.

I can't help but read that as "The Silent Sheep" every time.

And I have to say being able to attack while invisible is unfairly broken. Maybe a rapid decloak or something like it, but the enemy has to have some possibility of avoiding death.

This can be an extreme bodyshot weapon. And I wouldn't want to promote bodyshots as a sniper.

The main reason why I hate The Machina, people want to bodyshot all the time with that weapon.

I have always wanted a jarate sty throwable for the spy, maby something like this?

The yellow tail.

Enemy's covered in yellow tail are 50%less accurate

​Temporarily disables buildings

Does not effect demomen and pyros

Replaces sapper

Well, the 15% extra damage would be very nice. Considering you could probably body shot someone at full strength, and take them down fairly easily.

Plus I rarely use a full shot anyway, so the extra damage would be nice.

I'd probably use it
