Thanks to Critical I've been listening to RZA for the last few days. Other than that I've been playing my blues playlist heavily, might be why it started raining today. lol *shrugs*

I tend to shift between genres a few times a year, but this year I've been able to listen to Diane Birch pretty consistently.

Examples:

, Rise Up,

Another constant is definitely Ben Folds.

Examples:

,
,

Otherwise, I recently started listening to some Deadmau5 which is pretty cool.

I've been listening to a lot of music from Pump It Up lately since I've been going out once or twice a week to play it at the arcades and get exercise. Other than that, my Winamp is filled with random junk that I just rotate when playing TF2 in the evenings.

I'm listening to a song from 1979 right now: M - Pop Muzik

I grew up listening to 80's music, and this was when 106.9 FM (1069 The Point) was good, but they were recently bought and now they play a bunch of other stuff.

I usually listen to industrial. Stuff like Combichrist, Angelspit, and Covenant. But I'm not called an audioholic for nothing. My music library spans almost every genre, and is growing constantly, and listen to music 24 hours a day.

Here's my last.fm page that shows exactly what I listen to: http://www.last.fm/user/KRU63R

Favorite band: Modest Mouse.

But in all seriousness, I've known this band for sometime, but I've been listening to "Band of Horses". An indie(heh) kinda folk rock-ish band with acoustics, slight electric guitar distortions, and an overall floaty kind of feeling in the album "Everything All the Time". Also I recently got my boyfriend into Vampire Weekend, good stuff there too.

But ugh, I have such a varied taste in music, and playing piano and vocals for different local indie rock bands and more formal recitals, events, etc.

Well, I like all sorts of music, but rap just isn't my thing...

I grew up listening to music from the late 60s-early 70s, thanks to my dad, so I like quite a few bands and songs from the Vietnam War era.

Other than that, I like classic rock, (GunsnRoses, AC/DC, Boston, etc.), electronic music (Lots of stuff here. Blagh.), and some alternative rock stuff. (The Bravery, etc.). I don't usually indulge in my classical music tastes, but I find it nice to listen over classical/vocal as background music at times.

9 Ball's theme From Armored Core~

I listen to alot of stuff save for Rap or Country. Mostly though, I enjoy Metal/Rock and Game Soundtracks in general..And if something has a badass Organ or Piano I'll melt to it pretty easily

Here's a sample of what I listen to mostly:

Although, iTunes is on shuffle so really, it's whatever's next in my library of over 5,000 songs. It's far over that, but ever since my desktop power supply kicked the bucket, I've lost track of how many songs I actually have. So really, I have far less than that on my laptop.

Everything from Cannibal Corpse and Mayhem to The Beatles and Queen here, not to mention the FiM songs which I must admit are really good.

Porno for Pyros. Not really that into them, but the band name makes me laugh. "Pets" is pretty catchy.

At work I shuffle between 70's rock, 80's, 80's hair metal, 90's , 90's alt rock, a little rob zombie, and a bit of modern rock.

I'm big into songwriter Jim Steinman, as well.

At home, especially while writing, I put on the satelite radio channel 'Reality Bites', which is a lot of 90's alt. That's pretty much my high school days there, and gets me into creative mode pretty well.
