It was perhaps the lowest-quality Hale that's been introduced to the servers,

Excuse me? Honestly, You have no idea how much time we spent on making this the model alone took over a week to make, the code was altered a bit from the original blitzkreig code, and even have some animation in there. Saying this is the lowest quality hale just makes me want to vomit, we took time to work on something and it really hurts that people don't appreciate it.

I don't think the part about Donut being low-quality is about his model specifically, more like him as a whole.

Geez. When people are going to get that Donut is making fun of ocs? And why people hate him and love Snowdrop even though both comes from the same creator?

 

And it's not like we knew from the beggining Hasbro was going to make Dragonfire to make him for april fools beforehand.

Donut Steel was around long before the Snowdrop dude decided to use him.  That "Do Not Steal" joke was a meme since the early days of the pony fandom.

Well, I enjoy playing him, even though I usually loose badly because medics are evilz :)

 

I generally rotate between CMC and Donut, both are fun as hell and both inspire dread, which amuses me so :)

I've got a small request for the new updated Fluttershy, could we change how she selects players to become bears to the same system Pipsqueak uses for his minions, kept running into AFK players becoming bears when i summon a bear far too often then i should.

 

Otherwise when I get an active player as the bear, this Fluttershy is tons of fun.

Anyway I can't help but see that Nightmarity is still, shall we say, "out for repairs".

 

I know, I know, she was taken down because she was rediculously overpowered. (Seriously, minions out the ass, PLUS her usual powers? Talk about 2spooky4me.) Almost immediately afterwards, I contacted Raini and sent her some new (read: balanced) stats. She told me she'd get on it as soon as the holidays were over. Here we are, four and a half months later, and still nothing. Of course, I can tell she (and a lot of you guys too, I've noticed) have been incredibly busy. (Donut was especially great. Haven't had that much fun in months. Props, guys.)

 

Where was I? Oh, right. Nightmarity's still not back. Well seeing as Raini's not doing anything about it, perhaps you guys could help? Here are the stats I sent Raini in late December:

 

Here are Nightmarity's abilities as I know them;

 

ON KILL:

-Summon a Skeleton minion.

-No random crits.

-High base DPS.

-Silent Killer

 

ON RAGE:

-Blanket the map in a thick purple fog

-RED team takes 3 damage every second for a short time

-Every dead RED is revived as a Skeleton minion.

 

ON R ABILITY (MANIAC MODE):

-Can be activated at 20% Rage Meter or higher.

-Equips armor to the model.

-Grants damage and knockback resistance buff equal to Phlogistinator's MMMPH ability. (Approx 80% damage reduction, 50% knockback reduction)

 

OTHER ABILITIES:

-Super Jump (Charge time of 3 seconds, Cooldown of 5 seconds)

-Weighdown (Cannot be used if airtime is due to Super Jump)

 

SKELETON STATS:

-+50% movement speed

-+50% swing speed

-25% damage reduction

-100% Crit chance

-Increased damage on buildings

-Spawn at 275 HP overheal

 

Here are the abilities I'd like Nightmarity to have (changes are in bold text, complete removals are struck out):

 

ON KILL:

-Summon a Skeleton minion.

-No random crits.

-High base DPS.

-Silent Killer

 

ON RAGE:

-Blanket the map in a thick purple fog

-RED team takes 4 damage every second for a short time

-Every dead RED is revived as a Skeleton minion.

-Can be activated at 25% Rage Meter or higher.

-Equips armor to the model.

-Grants damage and knockback resistance buff: 60% damage reduction, and Quick-Fix Übercharge (100% movement impairment immunity)

OTHER ABILITIES:

-Super Jump (Charge time of 3 seconds, Cooldown of 7 seconds)

-Weighdown (Cannot be used if airtime is due to Super Jump)

 

SKELETON STATS:

-+20% movement speed

-+50% swing speed

-+25% damage increase

-100% Crit chance

-Increased damage on buildings

-Spawn at 150HP overheal

-No random Crits

You DO realize the model's already been updated, right? It uses the same base as the current Rarity and Flutterbat, moving eyes and all.

 

Also this one doesn't appear to have an Armored form

I made that model for testing porpouses. "How would NMR look with her quad model mane" style, it doesn't look good unless animated, which requires sarysa since I suck at animating.

 

Though I have to say you used a low-quality image for her pupils, it looks like an edited screenshot from a video where she shows up, also you should've considered giving her a alicorn head.

I mean If you want it too look like NMR and not just a retexture of Rarity this is here.

Naturally, I don't think people want a reskin. Would be better to use one that looks like the character rather then a clone.

Honestly? Like, I'm trying to find a nice way to go about this but I guess I gotta speak the truth for once. 

If we're updating the hale, we might as well update the base model too. Putting together Rarity with new textures isn't something new to the server and that's what we're looking for, as i've previously mentioned we do NOT need reskins for hales. If we were to re-add Nightmare Rarity as she is with that model the community will think that we're getting lazy with the models and start complaining like they always do. 

 

Here, I have even started a new thread with a poll that players may discuss about it. Do they want new Nightmare Rarity or Not.

I can see how the "copy+paste" look may just be a quick-way out of pushing a model through (and quite frankly just utterly lazy), but then again, the whole NMR model now comes across a bit troubling.  Now I know that NMR would stand out more if she were to get that plated armor onto her skin, but doing so may risk of that "copy+paste" path and an implication of said reason would take place.  Then again if we were to just stick with what IDW Comics had for the picture that Scootz posted, I can see now how it doesn't have all that "glamour" & "darkness" that would properly portray NMR.  But me, I'd say go with an entire re-work of the NMR model and perhaps come up with different designs and test them out in the public servers to see of which models the players like best (since quite honestly, we only get a fraction of them on the forums, unfortunately).

Have it your way. Go right ahead, but you'd better do a damn good job of it. Bringing NMR to VSP is easily one of the things I'm proudest of doing, and I do NOT want that ruined. Sarysa once offered me to improve the quality of her voice files also. If anyone's up for that, go right ahead. As for the abilities. I'd like some feedback of the ones I posted earlier.

I'm pretty sure bosses should only have non-melee weapons if it's part of their rage.

Ok, I shall now point out everything wrong from my point of view:

 

First, if you suggest music, link to the music.

 

All these rages seem too similar to other bosses

Also you got the health formula wrong, it's not 'X plus Y for every player above Z', and it is not a specific amount of health that is unaffected by players, the health is a base health of 460 plus the number of players, times the number of players, or, as an equation, [(460+n)×n]1.075, with 'n' being 'number of players'. (this is the default freak fortress 2 formula, vsp may have changed it, but they most likely don't use your formula.)

 

Also, the discorded mane 6 classes will most likely have to remain the same as the regular mane 6 bosses, which you got completely wrong.

 

And as I said above, you screwed up the weapons.

Hale Name: Dust

 

Instead of a super jump or teleport, Dust's "aerial move" will work like Pip Squeak's torpedo attack, only slower, and dealing less damage.

 

Rage: Summon a flying companion that can shoot small, arcing projectiles. Based off Dust's companion, Fidget.

 

On death (3 lives): Large explosion, stunning and damaging nearby players.

 

I'm open to suggestions, and before you ask, NO, this is not a personal OC.  This is based off the indie hit, Dust: an Elysian Tail.

i think i could help a bit here.. because i do love Dust From Dust:An Elysian Tail.

Right Click:Dust Storm... This can be done on ground or in Air..it causes 3-4 dmg per second but costs 8 Rage Per Second To maintain it.. but holding it for more then 8 seconds causes Dust to hurt him self for 100 Dmg..

 

Class:Demoman

 

Weapon:Persian Pursader

 

Stats:

200% Dmg Increase

25% Fireing Speed

25% Movement Speed

100% Dmg To Buildings

Rage:Summons Fidget To Shoot Projectiles To Which Dust Can use with Dust Storm to make it stronger...(Lasts 4-5 Seconds) Plus Small Sentry Stun Radius Which Lasts for 2-3 Seconds.

 

On Death: 3 Live Causes Beam Like Explosion Smilier to Level Up In Game.

 

 

Now Time For My Thoughts About The Boss... i do really love dust because it was a Great game...Everything about it was very enjoyable....but i'm unsure how much of a fan base Dust Has...other then this is we have to wait and see...
